In 2008, Adam Schanz founded Alarm
Protection Technology in North Salt Lake City, Utah.
Under the name of Alarm Protection Technology, Schanz along with a team of 10 sales reps began offering services in Utah, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Florida. This first team was called the A Team, they had a van and provided services to 12,000 customers. In 2011, Alarm Protection Technology dropped “technology” and switched over to Alarm Protection AP. At the time of the switch, AP had between 80 and 100 reps and was offering services in Alaska, California, Utah Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky, Utah, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Florida. With over, 40,000 customers, AP had experienced major exponential growth. Later that year, Alarm Protection officially changed their name to Alder Holdings, LLC. Since the name change, Alder continues to expect exponential growth and has seen proof of that. In 2016, Alder was providing services to 40,000 customers in just 22 states. At the start of the year 2018, Alder provided services in 35 states and helped over 100,000 customers protect their homes. As of June 2018, Alder Holdings, LLC known as Alder services customers in 38 states with expectations for more growth.

I really liked all of the additional services that my current company Alarm Pro did not offer. When I contacted Alarm Pro they told me it would be close to $500 to upgrade my system to cellular no phone line needed and that the could not offer any of the awesome features my Vivint system has. On Monday night I encountered yet another RUDE Vivint Home Security Solicitor yesterday at myhome in Palm Coast . Working 3 jobs and breaking my back for almost a year I finally own my dream home and I have a ADT sign in my yard. It was wired by a professional company for a security system and then ADT gave me the state of the art system to keep my home safe. Every thing your rep said to me was a lie, and when I didn’t listen and said no thank you he kept yelling at me and my door saying he will be back.
